CIVIC HEI 

The "Civic HEI" label is an annual award given to FEDE member institutions that actively integrate human rights into their programmes to promote students' civic engagement.


A true distinction

The "Civic HEI" label is an annual recognition awarded to institutions within the FEDE network that are actively committed to promoting human rights through their educational programmes. This label seeks to acknowledge and encourage schools that incorporate the Human Rights Prize into one or more courses, dedicating specific hours to fostering a culture of engagement among their students. 

Objectives of the label: 

  • Strengthen institutions’ investment in promoting human rights through their educational programs.
  • Foster a culture of engagement rooted in the value of otherness by raising awareness of human rights.
  • Highlight and reward institutions' initiatives actively defending and promoting human rights.

Eligibility criteria: 

  • The institution must be a member of the FEDE network
  • Students must be enrolled in at least one FEDE programme (degree, ECC module, language certificate, etc.)
